Kanyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary
This wildlife sanctuary is protected by the Tamil Nadu Government and is widely known for its considerable variety of wildlife, viz, tigers, panthers, elephants, blackbucks, and deer. Other animals found here include the Indian civet, mongoose, Indian fox, Indian langur, Indian giant squirrel, Indian bison, spotted deer, and the wild boar. Keeriparai Reserve Forest
The Keeriparai Reserve Forest is a 20 km area that is not as popular as Thirparappu but is well known to locals.
